The Dennis Piron
Legacy Scholarship

Endow it forever · No annual fundraising
Dennis Piron Legacy Scholarship emblem

For a decade, Dennis Piron turned Batavia High School students into entrepreneurs — coaching them from a raw idea all the way to pitch night. We're raising $80,000 to permanently endow a scholarship in his name, so a graduating senior is honored every year, forever.

Your $2,500 + $2,500 match = $5,000 Every gift is matched dollar-for-dollar by the Dunham Foundation, up to $40,000.

Why it matters

Through the BHS INCubator program, Dennis guided countless students as they built real businesses — teaching pro-forma financials, teamwork, and the courage to bring an idea to life.

"There's a tough love that prepares them in ways I don't know that college does. Nobody like him. Nobody."— Gary Ricke, Mentor

How your pledge works

  1. You pledge a leadership gift of $2,000–$5,000 — contingent on the match. Nothing is charged today.
  2. We secure the match. Lead pledges are the evidence that unlocks the Dunham grant.
  3. It's endowed — forever, held by the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence.
